Crimbourne Bloodstock Limited
For 30 years Crimbourne Stud and now Crimbourne Bloodstock has produced a host of top class flat horses who have won 100’s of races across the world. Now relocated at Wellsummers Farm in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, Crimbourne Bloodstock has a roster of privately owned mares, which include Group and Listed producers. Top class horses including, Indian Lodge, Eradicate, Oh Goodness Me, Moonlight Paradise, Havana Gold have all been produced by the team at Crimbourne Bloodstock.
Concentrating on the flat market Crimbourne Bloodstock sells into both the foal and yearling markets in England, France and latterly Germany. In addition to producing our own stock we also pinhook foals for sale as yearlings, the most successful recent purchase being the Group 1 winning Havana Grey son of our homebred stallion Havana Gold, who is now standing in his first year as a Stallion.
We also board mares and foal down their progeny; currently the boarding mares include multiple black type performers in the shape of Oshiponga and her daughters Blue Bayou and Raskutani.
We also do all the sales preparation for both foals and yearlings for our own stock as well as boarding horses.
Crimbourne Bloodstock also race some of our stock, we have horses in training with Charlie Hills, Jonny Portman and Gary Moore.
As a sideline we also have a few national hunt horses in training with Nicky Henderson. The horses run in the Crimbourne Stud Racing Partnership and run in the famous Grand National winning colours of the late Sir Eric Parker. The star performer is Verdana Blue a 7 year old Getaway mare who after winning her bumper has won 7 hurdle races including a Listed Kempton hurdle, the Elite Grade 2 hurdle at Wincanton, the Grade 1 Christmas hurdle and then smashing the course record carrying top weight in the Grade 2 Scottish Champion Hurdle. She is also a winner on the flat and was 2nd in a Listed flat race on only her second flat start.
